Final Stamp-a-Stack Card

This is a card I designed for a swap. I think it is a good sign that after making 35+ of it, I still like it! The card base is vanilla with the stocking stamped in cherry cobbler. It has one pearl in the middle of the snowflake. The vanilla circles are dry embossed with the snowflake embossing folder from the Holiday mini. This is one embossing folder I thought I didn't need, but I am sure glad that I ordered it since I have grown to really like it.

I hope to have pictures of 3D projects that will be made at my Christmas Gifts Class coming up soon! Stay tuned for more details.

Thanks for stopping by.

Christmas Stamp-a-Stack Card #3

Card #3 for the Stamp-a-Stack on November 11. The card base is Not Quite Navy. Behind the punched out snowflake is the Glitter Silver card stock that is in the Holiday mini.  There is a rhinestone in the middle of the snowflake. The greeting is embossed adding to the card's elegance.

I still haven't decided on our family Christmas card for this year. I don't have a picture that I love for it yet. I wanted to try and place a soccer picture of each on the kids on one 4x6 photo. However, after spending hours trying to figure out how to do it on Photoshop Elements, I still haven't figured it out:( I may have to go with my back-up plan. I like to try to have the photo and card coordinate, but it is looking like it may be tricky this year. I will just have to go with what I have. Does anyone notice anyway? Okay, enough babbling....

Have a great weekend. Don't forget to check back tomorrow for the last Stamp-a-Stack card.

Stamp-a-Stack Card #2

This card is made with the Christmas Lodge set featured in the Holiday mini. The Lodge is stamped on shimmer white card stock which is an elegant card stock that I like to use for Christmas cards and special occasions. I received the card in a swap, so I cannot take credit for the design. Thank you to the stamper who swapped this with me!

October 31....

Yesterday was a FULL, but FUN day! I was one of the parents to be chosen to go on a field trip with the third graders to Target Field. What a great experience for the kids and me. It was fun to be able to share the time with Noah as well. The evening was spent trick-or-treating.

This is the last picture of anything related to Halloween this year as I am now thinking of Christmas (yes, it will be here soon!).  The card pictured below was given to me from Carter's Kindergarten teacher. I thought it was too creative not to post.

Noah as a soccer player and Carter as a hunter.  Lily was a cowgirl, but she was with friends and I have no individual picture of her.

The first fundraiser was a hit, so we are doing it again! Below are pictures of the cards that will be at the Stamp-a-stack at Faith Church in Isle, MN on October 30. You can choose to make 10 (2 of each of the 5 designs) or 20 (4 of each design). Please contact Michele Haggberg (320-495-3622) to sign up. All you need to do is bring adhesive. All the card stock will be cut for you. There will be many sentiments available, so you customize the cards for your needs. The proceeds will go to the youth group!

Can't make it, but would like the cards? Let Michele know and we will make them for you:)
