This is a beautiful fall-ish birthday card using Baroque Motifs. I haven't inked up this set for a long time, but I really like the look of it and need to use it more:) It is such a versatile set which is one of the reasons I love it. I have used it to make wedding, sympathy, birthday and Christmas cards!

Paper: So Saffron, Very Vanilla, Chocolate Chip, Kiwi Kiss

Ink: kiwi kiss, chocolate chip, so saffron

Accessories: Chocolate chip grosgrain, scallop border punch, small oval punch

Gratitude Journal

This is a Gratitude Journal that will be made at a class I'm having. The colors were based off of the Haiku paper. I love the fall colors. This journal will be used in my family for each of us to record the top things we are thankful for. Each year (until it is full and I need to make another), we will each record an entry at Thanksgiving time. I'm having the kids write their own entry, so we will have a sample of writing. It will be fun to look back and see how their handwriting, but more importantly how their thoughts change over time. Our 3 year old said he was thankful for Elmo....I think that will change by next year! Since it is a journal, I kept the pages simple so the focus will be on the writings. The binding is done with a Bind-it-All.

If you would like more information about this class or if you would like to order one from me, please email me.

Lovely as a Tree

This card is a CASE. The original can be found here. Lovely as a Tree is such a versatile set. I think this card is very classy. It does take a little more time than others since you have to have to cut an oval frame using a coluzzle and paper pierce, however, I think the end result is worth it!

Recipe
Stamp Set: Lovely as a Tree
Paper: Always Artichoke, Shimmery White
Ink: Always Artichoke, Bashful Blue
Accessories: Riding Hood Red Taffeta Ribbon, Paper Piercer

Creations by Kris

These two cards were given to me from my friend Kris in Eau Claire. She used ribbon and paper from the SU Holiday Mini Catalog. I love the Chocolate and Red one. It reminds me of candy canes! I think I may have to make some of these for my Christmas cards.

The Next 2.....

Are you surprised to see another post so soon?!?! I am:) It is close to a miracle! It may be a little while before you see any more scrapbook pages since I need to complete more. I do have some cards that I can post if I find the time, so keep checking back. Don't be alarmed by the second scrapbook page...it really is sisterly love and not a headlock that she has her brother in:)

More Scrapbook Pages

Here are two more for you to view! Every time I post something new to my blog, I think I will not wait so long for my next post....well, it seems to be wishful thinking on my part! Thanks for those of you who continue to check out my blog periodically:) Our family pictures is from 2003 and the other scrapbook page is our son, Carter. It is a tradition for us when we are celebrating Christmas on my side to go on a hayride to the hunting shack, go sledding on the way and then roast hot dogs and smores over a bonfire. It is a lot of fun and a blast for the kids. My family is large, so there are over 20 of us on this adventure including my parents who are 79 and 80!
Class Info: The Class will be held on Saturday, November 22 at my home. Please email me if you are interested!
