Just Believe and Crochet Trim

This is a CASE from Andrea Walford. I loved the simplicity of this card. The flowers were stamped in vanilla craft ink on cherry cobbler card stock. The label was made using the Big Shot and Matchbook die, but the Decorative Label punch in the Holiday Mini is almost the exact same shape and would make it easier...stamp and then punch! I LOVE my punches:)

Tip: If you have a vanilla craft pad and haven't used it for awhile, the color may have separated and it won't work well for you. To get it back to "working" condition, take a plastic spoon and "smoosh" it over the top of the stamp pad until you have the color worked back in .

Same, but Different

These 2 cards have the exact same layout, both use the same colors and the stamp set Just Believe, but the technique used on each makes them different! This card was sprayed with vanilla smooch spritz which makes it shimmery. A rhinestone was placed in the middle of the one flower to go along with the shimmer look.
This card I distressed and has a vintage feel to it. I inked up a sponge in chocolate chip and ran it across the embossed vintage wallpaper on the marina mist card stock. A pearl was placed in the middle of the flower and chantilly crochet trim was tied around the flower image panel.
My club gals made this at stamp club a couple of weeks ago. They got to choose which style they made, since I like them both and couldn't make up my mind! Do you like one better than the other?

Colour Q Challenge #50

I made these two cards using the Color Challenge found here. Once again, I was too late uploading to be considered in the challenge, but thought you may like to see these cards. I used the Season of Friendship stamp set and on the first card used a punch from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch pack. Thanks for looking!

Inkspirations Challenge #39

So, I made this card for the Inkspirations Challenge #39 that is found here, but as I went to find out how to link it to the site, I realized that the challenge was already closed! The stamper that hosts this challenge lives in Australia, so their Thursday at midnight is different from the U.S. Thursday at midnight:) Oh well, I got a card made and had fun doing it:) This card uses the Halloween set, Wicked Cool. I took the idea from the Idea Book & Catalog to ruffle the ribbon around the stamped image. I like the look, but it was more challenging than I thought it would be! Maybe with more practice I would become better and faster at it.

Just Believe in Daffodil

This card was created with the Just Believe set with the flowers stamped in Daffodil Delight ink. The Whisper White card stock was embossed with the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder. A pearl was added to the flower (I love the pearls and rhinetstones!). I used the 1/8" taffeta ribbon. I wasn't too sure about the 1/8" size of this, but I know now I need to get this type of ribbon in more colors:)

SCIC 19

I made this card for Stampin' Celebration Inspiration Challenge #19. The challenges can be found here. I used the Daisies #2 Die to cut the flowers out of cherry cobbler and sponged the edges with early espresso ink. I then took a 2x2 piece of early espresso, placed a 2x2 piece from the sticky pages on top and then die cut the early espresso & sticky page into a circle using the Circles #2 die. I removed the red lining from the circle and then "twisted" early espresso 1/4" ribbon around the circle for the center of the flower. I have seen many centers and flowers with this technique and wanted to try it myself! I added the early espresso 5/8" grosgrain bow and then adhered the flower onto Crumb Cake card stock that was embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots folder.

Apple Blossoms

These two cards are exactly the same except for the Itty Bitty Shapes punch I used on them (I couldn't decide which punch shaped I liked best!). The cards use the Level 2 Hostess Set Apple Blossoms. I really like the look of Craft White ink on Crumb Cake.
