Graduation

A new post...it's about time! School is out, and I'm hoping I have more time to spend stamping and posting. My niece, Jordan, graduated from high school and this is the card I made for her.

I love the banners if you haven't noticed and be prepared to see more projects with banners:) Jordan loves zebra prints, and I had some zebra paper laying around that was perfect for her! I stamped the saying and used the framelits to die cut it out and then added a layer of melon mambo. I paper pierced around the edge of the melon mambo.

Razzleberry Graduation

This card was designed for the challenge at Create with Connie & Mary (CCMC#200). The challenge was to create a celebration card. This card is for my niece's graduation. The layout for this card is from I Spy Sketches (ISSC#14). It is hard to tell from the picture, but the card base is Whisper White with a layer of Razzleberry that was embossed with the Polka Dot Embossing Folder adhered to it. The banners were made using the Petal Cone Die and the paper is Summer Smooches (you will be able to order this June 1!). I stamped the saying from the Word Play stamp set in Lucky Limeade. Framelits were used to cut it out, and I added a layer of Tempting Turquoise that is paper pierced behind it. A Tangerine Tango flower using the Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch (soon to be retired) was adhered.

Stampin' Up News:
Retiring Items can be ordered through May 31. The new catalog will be out June 1!

Personal Note:
Hello Friends! I'm sorry I've been so sporadic with my postings lately. I hope to get on a more consistent basis again. Spring is busy for us with the three kids in soccer. We had a game last night, two games tonight, practice tomorrow night and a tournament this weekend. It will be fun! Lily will hopefully get her cast off Friday:)

Graduation

This is a quick graduation card. I used the color combination from Create with Connie & Mary (CCMC 197) and the layout from Clean and Simple (FTL 186). I think I may go back and add rhinestones across the whole strip of Certainly Celery Card Stock...what do you think? I may use this layout and change the color combo and change the stars to butterflies to make some that are more "girlie."

Thanks for stopping by....this was a quick card and post as I'm off to sub!

Card Stock: Marina Mist, Certainly Celery, Concord Crush
Stamps: Word Play
Ink: Basic Black
Accessories: Star Punches, Rhinestones, Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder
