Masculine B-day Card

Taxes are done!!!:)  I'm slowly getting back to making cards. This one is simple, but I hope to get more "creative" as I get back into it!  I find that masculine cards are not as fun to make, because I can't add all the fun extras! I stamped the ship from The Open Sea in Not Quite Navy and Happy Birthday from the stamp set Teeny Tiny Wishes was stamped in Early Espresso ink. The compass and log were stamped in crumb cake and the white panel was sponged using crumb cake. I tied Early Espresso Baker's Twine around the white panel and added a large Chocolate Chip brad (I had to get at least one accessory on it!). The base of the card is Early Espresso. The designer paper is from the Nautical Expedition pack which is retired. The sketch for this card is from Freshly Made Sketches, FMS22.

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope to be back soon with more!
