Notebook, Matching pen & Bookmark

Here's another gift idea! Make a notebook size 4x4 using coasters for the covers and stamping on each sheet inside. A bind-it-all was used to assemble the coils. The bookmark was made using the Two Tags die for the Big Shot. And to make a matching pen, unscrew the bottom of an RSVP pen, roll up designer paper and put inside.

Candy Jar

Happy Thanksgiving!

If you don't see a post from me on Friday, it is because I'm one of the "crazy" ones standing in line waiting for the stores to open to snag some good deals:) If I'm not too tired, I'll get another gift idea posted.

On to today's gift idea. This jar is from Ikea. I decorated the lid, tied a ribbon around it and would fill it FULL with candy if I was giving it as a gift. You may be thinking the reason there are so few m&m's in the jar is because I ate them...well, that is incorrect THIS time. I did not have Christmas m&m's and wanted them to match so I snuck into my kids' Halloween candy and took the green, red and brown m&m's:) This is another quick and easy gift. Just so you know, the large chocolate chip circle was cut with the circle scissors plus and the rest was with punches. The stamp I used is from a retired hostess set. I hope you enjoy!

Hot Chocolate Box

This is a super easy and cute gift to make. Add a tag to the outside of a clear card box and fill the card box with goodies. The tag was made using the Big Shot Two Tags die, with a little piece of designer paper, ribbon and an adorable snowman. Running out of time, but still want to give something homemade to bus drivers, Sunday school teachers, friends, etc? This would be the perfect gift.

Fall Trendy Trees

Fall is still here as it is going to be close to 60 degrees today and tomorrow! This card has a unique fold to it. You pull on the ribbon to reveal the inside. I usually stamp a sentiment on the inside, but haven't on this one until I know what occasion I'm going to use it for. The tree is inked using the rock n' roll technique. Ink up the tree in the lighter color (crushed curry) first and then roll the outside edges in the darker color (rich razzleberry). This is a card that we made at my last stamp club.

Recipe:
Stamp Set: Trendy Trees
Cardstock: Soft Suede, Rich Razzleberry, Whisper White
Ink: Soft Suede, Rich Razzleberry, Crushed Curry
Accessories: Big Shot Texturz Plate, Crushed Curry Polka Dot Ribbon, Linen Thread, Cutter Kit

Kids Journal Jars

These are samples of journals, journal jars and matching pens that I made for a craft fair earlier this year. Inside the jars are slips of paper that have a journal prompt typed on it. The journal prompt can be taped at the top of the journal page and the child can write on that topic/question. This is a fun and uniqe gift for those who like to write and to encourage those who do not! There are over 60 journal prompts in the jar. A few of the prompts are...

the mysterious footprints led to....

if you could be invisible for a day what would you do?

draw a cartoon.

This is great for any kid who is able to write:)

Classic Monogram Cards

This card has been the one that most people want me to make for gift giving. It is a classic card. The dry embossing adds elegance to it. It is one of my favorites as well!
