Corduroy Buttons!

This card uses some fun, new items. To start with, the Parisian Breeze specialty designer paper is textured cardstock! It is beautiful. Stampin' Up! now carries corduory buttons which adds some texture to any project you may be doing. This card is a pocket card, so the Wonderful Friend part pull out and you write your message on that. The flowers from Embrace Life stamp set are embossed on the designer paper and cut out.

Post-its

Here is a great way to keep your post-its handy....decorate a coaster/chipboard and binder clip, adhere magnets to the back and stick on your fridge. And, make a matching pen to go with it:) This makes a nice little gift as well.

The supplies used are once again Sale-a-bration items. I was not too fond of the paper colors when I first saw them, but now I really like them. They are great for spring and Easter cards/projects.

Big Shot Cello Bag

This little cello bag was decorated by using the Big Shot and Sale-a-bration items. The top note fits perfectly over the small cello bags to make a topper and if you turn the die the other way, it will fit over larger bags:) The butterfly is also a die which I have been using a lot since I have a 7 year old girl who just had a butterfly themed birthday party. The butterfly is attached by a glue dot in the middle, so I was able to "lift" the wings to give it dimension. The So Saffron ribbon is from the sale-a-bration ribbon bundle. Inside the bag are Hershey nuggets wrapped in the sale-a-bration Delicate Dots designer paper (the size of the paper is cut to 1" x 3" pieces).

Sale-a-Bration and Rub-ons

I love the colors and look of this card! My favorite part is the use of rub-ons on the ribbon (thanks Kathy for thinking of this!). I used the chit-chat rub-ons on the ribbon. The chit-chat rub-ons are a great price for the many sayings you get in it. They come not only in the white which I used here, but also chocolate chip (my fav color!). This card is VERY quick to make. I used the whisper white Note Cars that SU! sells. These come pre-scored and are a fun size at 5 x 3 1/2". The flower is made by using only one ink color, Riding Hood Red and punches -easy peasy! I broke down and bought the Bella Rose designer paper. It is bright and cheerful. Remember that sale-a-bration ends March 31!

March Stamp Class Pictures

Here are pictures of my upcoming stamp class on March 28! Ten cards using the Simply Scrappin' Sunshine Garden kit will be made at the class along with a matching tote to keep them in. Top Note Bag

I can't believe it has been a month since I have posted! I always think I will be more consistent in making posts, but I'm not going to make any promises:)

This is a cute and easy "bag" to make using the Top Note Die. It would be great for a gift card, candy or hostess gift. The Yummy sale-a-bration is used on them which was made to fit the top note die perfectly. The chocolate chip and pink piroutte felt flowers give this tote a soft look.
