Challenge & Sneak Peek

I finally sat down and stamped for a challenge! It has been awhile....

This card uses the Honeycomb Embossing Folder and That's the Ticket Stamp Set which are both in the upcoming Spring Catalog! I cut out hexagons from various designer series papers. Since there is not a punch, I ran the designer paper through the Big Shot using the Honeycomb embossing folder and then cut out the hexagons by using the raised embossed edges as a guide for cutting.

The colors used for this card are from the cQc #169 which can be found here.

CASE

This is a complete CASE from Penny Smiley. The card uses the current Ronald McDonald set, Moving Forward. I loved the gray and yellow color combo, little flowers in the bike basket and of course the polka-dot paper. The pearls add just the perfect extra touch.

Fall Leaves

I know fall has past, but I wanted to show you this card since I didn't post it earlier in the season. This card uses the Wonderfall Stamp Set, the Woodgrain Texture Embossing Folder, and Autumn Accents Bigz Die. I was happy to see the die with leaves as the old leaf die had retired:)

Perfectly Preserved #2

Another card using the Perfectly Preserved Bundle. I used the framelit to cut the jar out of the Island Indigo card stock and then stamped on clear acetate with staz-on to make it look like a glass jar. The apple was stamped and then cut using the framelits....gotta love framelits!

Perfectly Preserved

When I saw the Perfectly Preserved set in the Holiday mini, I knew I had to get it since it had an image of sweet corn in it. And, as most of you know, a big part of our summer is selling sweetcorn!

This card uses the Perfectly Preserved Bundle along with the Bitty Banners and Bitty Banners Framelits. I love how the framelits cut the images in the Perfectly Preserved stamp set.

Merry Christmas!

This year I "cheated" on our Christmas! Instead of handstamping each of them, I created them using Stampin' Up!'s My Digital Studio. It worked great, and I love the outcome. Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Secret Santa

Lily and her friends decided to have Secret Santas, so guess who gets to help come up with the gifts... yes, me:)  We have been having fun. Luckily, the friend she is giving gifts to is a "newer" friend and does not know that I am a stamper:)

This is one of the gifts Lily gave her:

The box is made from the Matchbox Die (which is retired). Three chapsticks fit in it perfectly!

Do you have gifts made for those on your list?

Christmas Countdown

Are you ready for Christmas? This year I "cheated" and made my Christmas cards using My Digital Studio (I will post the card at a later date). It was definitely a time saver, but I did miss stamping the cards. I made the Christmas card below using the Ornament Keepsake Stamp Set and the matching Holiday Framelits die. The card is vanilla with the top layer embossed using the snowflake embossing folder. The ornaments were stamped and then easily cut out using the matching framelits. If you make this card, just be sure to stamp the saying before embossing!

Penguin Punch

This card was a card that my stamp club ladies made. It is made from lots of punches! Isn't he cute?!?

It snowed at least 12" here yesterday, so I thought this card was fitting. We were hoping for school to be cancelled, but no such luck:( Since, I'm subbing, no school would mean a free day for me as well! I need at least a month of no school to get caught up on everything!

Enjoy your day and thanks for stopping by....

Fall

Fall may be coming back with the warmer temps we are having...woohoo! The card below was created by my friend and fellow demo, Brenda Hukriede. This card showcases the designer paper. Another card you may want to CASE if you are making sets of cards to give as gifts this Christmas.
