Patterns, Patterns
I made this card for a few different challenges. It is a birthday card for my daughter Lily who will be turning 11 in March. After looking at the challenges, I had a card in mind.....this didn't not turn out how I pictured it, but I think it works as long as you like patterns:) I wish I had tangerine with chevrons on it, but I had to use what I had.
Thanks for stopping by! I'm linking up to these challenges: Try Stampin' On Tuesday #100; Stampin' Royalty #158; The Friday Mashup #92.

Felt Flowers
This card was created for the color challenge at Just Add Ink #112 and the sketch challenge at SQSC #33. The card base is crumb cake, and it is sponged with Very Vanilla ink. The pink pirouette and chocolate chip felt flowers are retired. I added a pearl to the middle of each flower. Chantilly Crochet Trim was tied in a bow at the top of the card.

Graduation
This sentiment from the stamp set Word Play is great for Graduation cards. I colored the words in using the Lucky Limeade, Melon Mambo and Chocolate Chip markers. I stamped the arrow again on a piece of white cardstock, cut it out and raised it with a Stampin' Dimensional. I stamped Happy Graduation from Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set in Melon Mambo on White cardstock and punched it out using the Decorative Label punch. The banners behind the sentiment were stamped using the Dot, Dot, Dot stamp inked in Versamark. This card uses the sketch from Stampin' Queens, SQSC 26 and the colors are from the challenge at Create with Connie & Mary, CCMC189.

Buttons, Buttons, Buttons!
I can just imagine my friend, Brenda, smiling when she looks at this card as she always says that I love buttons:) This card is a fun one! I used the sketch from Sketch Frenzy Friday, but turned it on its side. I embossed the Crumb Cake cardstock with the Stripes Embossing Folder (Free during SAB). I stamped the flourish from the Baroque Motifs stamp set in Crumb Cake. Linen Thread was tied around the card. The Bright Designer Buttons (Free during SAB) were added and the sentiment (retired) was stamped in Basic Gray.
Happy Friday to all of you!

CCMC186
This card has a "vintage feel" to it. The music notes background was made by inking up the SU Music Notes wheel in Baja Breeze. The designer paper is from the Pocket Full of Posies designer series pack. Vanilla cardstock was punched with the large oval punch and then layered onto a Baja Breeze oval which was made using the Designer Frames (you can get these free during SAB). I die cut a label from the Label Famelits out of Baja Breeze and adhered the ovals it. The flower is from the Boho Blossoms punch. After punching them out from Baja Breeze, I separated the layers of cardstock. Crumb Cake was sponged around everything:). The sketch challenge can be found here at Create with Connie and Mary.
Thanks for looking!

Color & Sketch Challenge
The color challenge was cQc #121 found here. I used Crumb Cake cardstock for the base and embossed it with the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder. The scallops were made with Old Olive cardstock punched with the Scallop Border punch. The designer paper is from a retired designer series pack. The flowers were die cut in Riding Hood Red and More Mustard. A button was added with white bakers twine tied in a bow. The color challenge included white, so I did get a little bit of white on it! Brads were added at the bottom. The sketch is FMS#19 which can be found here.

Ruffled Wedding Dress
My second post for the day! I don't normally have two posts, but I had this idea in mind for the challenge on Freshly Made Sketches #17 found here and it is due by noon today. This card was made by stamping the dress from Love and Laughter in black and then cutting it out. I then used sticky strip on the bottom portion of the dress and ruffled vanilla seam binding. A pearl was added to the top of the dress and black ribbon was tied to define the top from the bottom. If I were to do this again, I would not place a plain piece of vanilla cardstock over the bottom of the dress as the ink does show through a little. I would also cut the right side of the dress so it wasn't "flowing out" but with the same angle as the left side.

Stamping 411 SSC#237
This card uses the sketch posted here for the Stamping 411 Challenge. The banner was made using paper from the Pocketful of Posies designer series paper. The Scallop Trim Border was used to make the white scallop border along the border. The flowers from the Button Buddies stamp set were stamped in Rich Razzleberry, Baja Breeze and Crumb Cake. A retired baja breeze corduroy button and a rich razzleberry button were added to the flowers.
CCMC183 Color Challenge
The color challenge found here was to use Soft Suede, Pool Party and Blushing Bride. The tree from Season of Friendship was stamped in Soft Suede and flowers were punched out of Pool Party and Blushing Bride cardstock with small pearls added to the center of each. The banner was made from the Petal Cone die. Pool Party Baker's Twine is tied in the middle of the card.
Have a great day! If you are in MN, I hope you get outside to enjoy the weather!

Challenges
This card was created for two different challenges. Stamping 411 challenge SSC #235 found here and colorQ Challenge found here. The kites are from the stamp set Send Me Soaring and the Happy Birthday is from Bring on the Cake stamp set. I used Cherry Cobbler, Calypso Coral, Pear Pizzaz and Pool Party. I added glitter to the kites to make them stand out more.
