Urban Oasis Father's Day

I often find it hard to create a masculine card. But, here is one for Father's day that I created without any frills or girly embellishments:) This card uses the Urban Oasis Designer Paper which has more masculine designs than some of the other designer paper. Mother's Day Embossed

Once again, I have fallen off of the blogging wagon! I don't know where the time has gone. This is a beautiful card for mother's day. This is one of the cards that my stamp club gals made. Instead of the pearl in the middle of the flower, we used designer buttons and corduroy buttons and the jumbo brads. This card is easily made with the help of the Big Shot! The top part was dry embossed and the flower is made from an embosslit.

Corduroy Buttons!

This card uses some fun, new items. To start with, the Parisian Breeze specialty designer paper is textured cardstock! It is beautiful. Stampin' Up! now carries corduory buttons which adds some texture to any project you may be doing. This card is a pocket card, so the Wonderful Friend part pull out and you write your message on that. The flowers from Embrace Life stamp set are embossed on the designer paper and cut out.

Post-its

Here is a great way to keep your post-its handy....decorate a coaster/chipboard and binder clip, adhere magnets to the back and stick on your fridge. And, make a matching pen to go with it:) This makes a nice little gift as well.

The supplies used are once again Sale-a-bration items. I was not too fond of the paper colors when I first saw them, but now I really like them. They are great for spring and Easter cards/projects.

Big Shot Cello Bag

This little cello bag was decorated by using the Big Shot and Sale-a-bration items. The top note fits perfectly over the small cello bags to make a topper and if you turn the die the other way, it will fit over larger bags:) The butterfly is also a die which I have been using a lot since I have a 7 year old girl who just had a butterfly themed birthday party. The butterfly is attached by a glue dot in the middle, so I was able to "lift" the wings to give it dimension. The So Saffron ribbon is from the sale-a-bration ribbon bundle. Inside the bag are Hershey nuggets wrapped in the sale-a-bration Delicate Dots designer paper (the size of the paper is cut to 1" x 3" pieces).
